1.       Poverty is the lack of basic human needs like health, education, shelter and food etc. those people which do not afford these basic needs are poor people. There are two types of poverty; absolute poverty and relative poverty. In relative poverty people compare themselves with others and in this type people has the ability to afford basic needs. But in absolute poverty people has inability to purchase these basic human needs. The people which cannot afford these basic human need are considered in the category of third world.
